COORDINATOR SOLICITES COOPERATION AND SUPPORT OF MEDIA ORGANIZATIONS

The Coordinator, National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC), Adamawa State, Mallam Yunusa Ibrahim has solicited the cooperation and support of media organizations in the state in creating awareness about the lottery industry.

The organizations include: the Nigerian Television Authority, Yola, Adamawa Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (Fombila FM), Yola. He made the call during his separate visits to the media houses.

The Coordinator said the courtesy visits had become necessary since the media houses are major stakeholders in the lottery industry.

He emphasized on the benefits of Lottery and the need to create awareness, especially in that part of the country with the prevalence of negative perceptions towards lottery.

Ibrahim said there was need for National Lottery Regulatory Commission to partner with the media to enable it reach out to people in that area.

Mallam Ibrahim also spoke on the benefits of lottery, stating that proceeds from lottery could be used for good causes.
