The Director-General of the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC), Mr. Lanre Gbajabiamila has charged new entrants – Orbital Lottery & Gaming Limited and Africlick Limited (trading as Win Sapa) to attain significant height while operating in the gaming industry.

Mr. Gbajabiamila, who spoke during the presentation ceremony of sports betting permit to both companies at the Commission’s Headquarters in Abuja recently, stated that the NLRC continues to encourage both local and foreign investment for the betterment of the nation’s economy.

Whilst commending both companies for getting to this point in the licensing process, the NLRC boss encouraged them to report any infraction to the Commission to aid its efforts to tackle illegalities in the gaming industry.

“Make the Commission proud and do not hesitate to relate with the Commission when you encounter any issues. Do not give us any course to enforce compliance on your companies as the Commission will not hesitate to bring the full weight of the law if you are found wanting. As a stakeholder in the industry, be part of the eyes and ears of the NLRC and let us know when there is an operation going on of which you do not know of its validity,” Mr. Gbajabiamila said.
