Directors, Deputy Directors, others emerge in NLRC latest promotions

One of the best incentives an organization can provide its employees is the opportunity for advancement in service, and one such advancement is promotion vis-a-vis career progression.

The National Lottery Regulatory Commission under the leadership of our amiable Director General, Mr. Lanre Gbajabiamila, recently released the 2022 promotion examination result which saw Four Hundred and Sixty-Nine staff promoted to higher ranks.

However, some staff received the promotion result with mixed feelings as they could not scale the hurdle of promotion.

According to investigations, some staff, especially those in Executive Cadre were caught in the proper placement web while some did not make it as a result of insufficient vacancies which is a prerequisite for promotion in Public Service as stipulated by the Public Service Rule. Staff who made the promotion list are elated and have since expressed appreciation to the Commission’s Management for the opportunity to advance in service.

The promotion saw the emergence of Two(2) new Directors, Two(2) Deputy-Directors, Ten(10) Assistant Directors, and Fourty-One(41) Chief Administrative Officers, among the different categories of ranks in the Commission.

The newly promoted staff are expected to be more committed to the workforce, reduce absenteeism and discharge their duties efficiently and effectively in commensuration with the new status attained in the organizational hierarchy.

Congratulations to all who made it!
